General Membership Meetings May 12, 2008 Dear Brothers and Sisters, The 2007 Negotiation Committee and your Executive Board strongly recommends the attached ratification for your new Collective Agreements. Both agreements were negotiated face to face over a three day period. Significant changes have been made to both the Office Personnel Collective Agreement and the Agent/PR Collective Agreement. Agent/Public Relations New Collective Agreement Office Personnel New Collective Agreement The highlights in red are the proposed changes to the current contract. BOTH contracts are retro-active to JUNE 2007!. General membership meetings to ratify the 2007 to 2010 Collective Agreements have been scheduled for each office. This is YOUR Collective Agreement and every CEP 247 member is encouraged to attend the meeting to vote and have any question answered. Refreshments will be available. Listed below is the schedule for your office; Halifax: Monday, May 26th - 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm – Halifax Agency Office Moncton: Tuesday, May 27th - 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Moncton Agency Office Montreal: Wednesday, June 4th – 9:00 am to 10:00 am – Montreal Agency Office Ottawa: Friday, May 30th – 1:00pm to 2:00pm – Ottawa Agency Office (Royal Canadian Legion – 70 Hines Road) Toronto: Monday, May 12th – 1:00pm to 2:00 pm – Toronto Agency Office London: Tuesday, June 3rd – 9:00 am to 10:00 am – London Agency Office St John’s: Thursday, June 5th – 4:00 pm (NL Time or 2:30 EST) – 5:00 pm – Special Toll-Free Conference call, dial in from your home: Number will be posted soon!
